Baekjasanggamyeondangchomundaejeop

Produced during the early years of the Joseon Kingdom, this bowl, that feels like plaster, was inspired by Goryeo Period white porcelain. It is 7.6 cm height, 17.5 cm diameter of top and 6.2 cm bottom.

Some of its characteristics are as follow:

1. The lip part widening outward a little.

2. Simplified creeper patterns on the top inside.

3. Two lines carved on the outside

4. Engraved lotus using damascening in it.

These dishes were mainly manufactured in Gyeonsang province and some other regions. It is proof of the developing new artistic trends while succeeding to keep the skills learned by the Goryeo Period.
